So I realized that I hadn't updated in basically forever...so yeah....an update! I switched jobs in March which is part of why I went off the grid. And I got another dog who is a whole lot of trouble but cute. As far as cosplay, I have pics of GGO Kirito from this time last year but I still need to adjust/edit them. A few weekends ago I got pics of my Megumin cosplay and those should go up next week. Also, three of us did Quidditch costumes that I designed for DCC this year. No official pics of those but there should be plenty all over the interwebs Also I got a 3d printer this summer which would be cool if I could get it running a bit better. Apparently 3d printers have a steep learning curve for those of us who aren't spectacular with new technology. And for the big news, I will be going to Japan next week!!!! Many many spectacular pictures will be taken and I will work on getting a better update done around Thanksgiving when I get back. I wanted to get more things spruced up on my page but it may not happen before I leave. What else.....hhhhmmmmm....oh! We have decided to do a Gintama group for next NDK featuring Elizabeth. Which will take a good long time to make so that will get started the first of the year.

After a rough and eventful summer I am still getting my cosplays ready for this weekends con. Its been a few years since I've been this far behind but I should be able to make it. The plan is : Friday and Sunday, Li from Cardcaptors, Sat Haruko from FLCL. If you see me around say hi!! Also I am running a panel on painting Sat at 4 for those who are interested. I'm also working on a few photo shoots of last years costumes so sometime in late September those pics should be up. More of an update later, and hope to see everyone this weekend!!

I realize that I haven't updated in a good while but things got very very busy! I figured I'd at least post my cosplay plans for the year before convention season, which is right around the corner. I'm re-using Azula for DDC and so far the plan for NDK is Li from Cardcaptors and Haruko from FLCL. There is a possibility that I will also have a Canti with me, but that is still being worked out. Also, if NDK keeps the Selfie station contest then I am definitely going to partake in that. On the plus side I have all of my fabric and have at least started on props but I spent entirely way too much time hanging out with friends and not enough time focusing on cosplay. So I am already behind even though I just started, which is somewhat usual. Time permitting my friends and I may try our hand at the AMV contest, but that will come after costumes are a little further to completion. I've also tossed around the idea of running another panel this year. It would be on painting and go over different techniques for different surfaces and the like. But I'm not entirely sure anyone would be interested. One thing that I have worked on over the winter is a banner of sorts that is a painting of Mt. Fuji based off an Ukiyo-e print. It should be done by next week(it needs to be done by then for various reasons) and I will post a pic. OH! I got both a new phone and a new camera, so much excitement on the electronics front. Well, I bid the adieu until probably after DCC, unless more time presents its self before then.

Sorry for the late update, but things got a bit hectic after the con. I just posted so pics of Kurapika, which I'm glad was popular at the con. So many HunterxHunter fans!! Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. I still need to do a photo shoot for Kirito and get those pics posted. Hopefully that will happen by the end of the month. If not it may be too cold and I may have to bump it to spring which would be sad. Also, I still need to do a shoot in Azula which will definitely be a spring thing since I have to make some adjustments to my costume. Anyways, I already have a plan for next year and should start sewing in the next month. Hopefully. I need money to buy fabric still. AAAhhhh being broke after cons never gets old. To remedy this I am going to be selling some old cosplays and wigs in the next few weeks. I cleaned out my costume containers(yes I have more than one) and found about 10 wigs that I either never used or wore once. Since I am out of both space and money it was an easy decision to get rid of them. I also realized that I have 2(yes two) containers of fabric. Unfortunately its not the right colors for next year's cosplays, which is surprising considering the selection of fabric I seem to have horded. The bonus is I can make a Halloween costume, a wool winter coat and a scarf or two. All of that would only take half the fabric from one container but at least it would be put to use. As a side note I am willing to sell of some of my old costumes for fairly cheap if anyone is interested. I also decided that I will put Aang up for sell, it was a tough decision but space is at a premium in my closet right now. Other things that are going up for sale are  Allen, my old Naruto, some old Halloween costumes, all of my Lolitas(maybe not the cupcake one), Yukimura, and Ansem. Pretty much every thing pre-2013. That being said I need to continue organizing my closet so farewell my friends.

Once again I had a great time at Denver Comic Con! Also, my Azula costume turned out very well, however I didn't really get any pictures of it. Later In the summer I will do a photo shoot but that may not be until August. Things have gotten a bit hectic and I am very busy again. On a positive note I have started my Kirito costume. I have to get it mostly done in around 6 weeks in order to also make Kurapika. Unfortunately, I have to house sit for my parents this summer but I'm hoping I can still get a lot done during that time. I may end up only getting Kirito done and I will pull something out of my closet for the other days. If that happens this will be one of the first years I've only managed to make 2 costumes, but hey that's life. I plan on using Azula again for next year's DCC which will give me time for another costume for NDK 2016. I now have to go to work and make money so there will be a more lengthy update in a month or so, probably.XP  I probably won't update by July so have a happy July 4th everyone!! Oh, a quick update on my life outside costumes, my car broke down and got fixed, I went to visit family in California and we went to Sea World and the San Diego Zoo, pandas are smaller and more boring that I expected, my lawn mower broke down and I had to get a new one, I got a box turtle, my bathroom is nearly finished(hoorah home improvement), I'm trying to grow hops in my garden(only one has sprouted), the knob to turn my swamp cooler busted off, and lastly I'm going camping in two weekends. There you go, I glossed over a bunch of stuff but that's about it. Have a great week everyone!
